Zeva means precious in ancient Sanskrit, and the uniqueness of the Zeva brand lies in the unique patterns engraved on the surface of its designs. The motifs can be geometrical, organic, or any other source of inspiration. Depending on the direction and intensity of the light, these patterns create unique and perpetually changing reflections, meaning that the colours of the gold or platinum are never exactly the same. Gold and platinum are enriched with guilloché patterns. For complex designs, this engine-turning is done by hand and the craftsman uses a complex manual engraving machine with wheels that drive the engraving chisel. The other motifs are created using accurate digital machines to give this unique visual effect. This technique is featured in the STRETCH, WIRED and FROST collections.
