Every fall, Neuchâtel takes on a new look. For the 8th edition of the Arty Show, the downtown streets transform into an open-air gallery, and store windows showcase works by artists from diverse backgrounds. Passersby stroll, pause, and look up: art slips into everyday life with a delicacy that invites engagement.

This year, Bijouterie Michaud is opening its storefronts to ceramic artist Dorota Bugajewska. Amid the sparkling jewelry and exceptional timepieces, her ornamental creations bring to life a porcelain garden inspired by Baroque vanities and still lifes. The slender vases, plant-like forms, natural textures, and flower-crowned skulls that define her artistic world are crafted by hand, petal by petal, motif by motif—a tribute to time and material.

For several seasons now, Bijouterie Michaud has taken pleasure in showcasing artists in its store windows: from garden gnomes to ceramic sculptures and stained-glass windows, each collaboration adds a new nuance to its display. With Dorota Bugajewska, a new chapter of craftsmanship and artistic sensibility is unfolding before the eyes of passersby.

Join us from October 17 to November 14 for an artistic stroll through Neuchâtel’s storefronts, and take a moment to admire Dorota Bugajewska’s works.
